Fellowships/Financial Support

All graduate students and post-doctoral associates working on projects funded by the Science and Technology Center for Environmentally Responsible Solvents and Processes (CERSP) receive some sort of financial support. Most receive research fellowship stipends, plus tuition (for graduate students) and medical benefits at least partially funded directly by CERSP (using part of our NSF funding). Some undergraduate student researchers receive scholarships; others are paid as research assistants, while still others receive guidance in research projects as part of earning honors credit.

In general, all those seeking graduate degrees in science or engineering at our participating universities are eligible for some sort of financial aid--either fellowships, which pay stipends-- or graduate teaching assistanceships--which pay for work performed to support teaching of (usually undergraduate) technical courses.
