In additions to tours and collaborations, the Center co-sponsored a seminar by Susan Tucker with the Physical Chemistry Department of UNC-CH. The Center plans to host a monthly teleconferenced Seminar Series beginning October 7, 2000. Speakers have already been identified for October and November. Plans are currently underway to solicit speakers for subsequent months and publicize the dates to Center affiliates and industrial collaborators, potentially including “streaming” the seminars via the Internet to industrial collaborators.
